He has created in Casa del Forno a unique combination of comfort and sophistication. It is exquisitely furnished in traditional Florentine style - its frescoes, antique furniture, superbly landscaped gardens, terraces and panoramic swimming pool all blend sublimely into the beauty of its surroundings. Here guests will find among statues, cypresses and flowers a place in the sun or the shade to read, talk, relax and enjoy a glass –or two- of local Chianti wine. For guests who book for two or more weeks Sandro offers an evening of Tuscan food and “bel canto” to the accompaniment of talented pianist, Alessandro. Otherwise it may be possible to arrange this on request. Guests may also have, on request , a half- day's demonstration by a professional chef of traditional and authentic Tuscan cooking. It is also possible to book tickets for museums, theatres and concerts. All towels and linen for bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen are provided as is water, gas and electricity. There is a courtesy welcome lunch and hamper of basic supplies provided on arrival. Two apartments, VANIA AND MANUELA , in a house to the rear of the villa, are also available to rent.
